Museum of the Rockies is seeking a Program Coordinator for American Indian Cultures to assist in the creation of a new American Indian exhibition focusing on tribes of the Northern Rocky Mountain region. We are looking for an applicant with close ties to American Indian cultures and a desire to learn about museum work from the inside.

Position assists the Curator of History in the development of an exhibition on the American Indian peoples of the Northern Rocky Mountain region. Position will be responsible for maintaining a project calendar to ensure the timely completion of project tasks and assist in making and maintaining contacts with tribal partners and consultants. Position will conduct independent research and write tribal histories and other topics for potential inclusion in the exhibition. The position will also assist the Education Department in the development of educational programming associated with the exhibition.
